What's the policy on people promoting there own stuff on other folks threads? Can i get the post deleted?

Apologies for the impoliteness. However, this wasnt a promotion of my own stuff- just someone I know who I bought some mudguards off similar to yours. I really thought that yours had sold - but that was because I didnt read the thread properly. Apologies for this and the link has since been removed.

This was a case of simply trying to share some knowledge on a community classifieds about a similar product. I had absolutely nothing to gain from the link I posted whatsoever.

It doesn't really matter to me who's stuff it was, but I can see why the semantics would be more important your way.
Thanks for taking the link off, if I have any more people interested after collection then I would be very happy to point them in the direction of your friend, or if you start a thread to point them towards the thread.

Most people like to have the titles and prices kept for historical reasons, it helps as others will know in the future what a fair price might be.

Rusty Mudguard has been banned for threatening other members of the forum.

Yeah, I know others in the past have done this... but we've actually known them as they were long-standing members of the community and we could see it was empty threats and hot air.

In Rusty's case we don't know that it was hot air, and so he's been banned. If anyone has a transaction with him in progress, let me know and I will put you in touch with him.

I think this happens whenever the creative changes.

Reported to iSocket/BuyAds who run this stuff for me.

Last time the issue vanished before we could resolve it, so we figured it was somehow solved by something else.

But earlier today singlespeedcomponents.co.uk changed their creative (image) and the issue has surfaced since then.

So now we have a good contender, it may be related to the changing of creative and the fact that this information gets replicated to lots of servers.

Reported it with that info so that they can look into it.

Bah! Going to post the same thing (coincidentally the only 2 times I've clicked on ads recently they've been down!) read through about five pages about bandwidth theft to discover dan beat me by possibly not much if I hadn't read the last week of this thread...
