I've banned the spammer.

This is getting slightly harder though... they are Pakistan based and I've blocked access from Pakistan, so they've been using VPNs via Digital Ocean. Which means I've now blocked Digital Ocean.

I'm happy to block LFGSS from bots and hosting providers so long as it remains accessible to home users, but at some point I'm probably going to encounter the fact that some of you are using VPNs on these companies and that you're being blocked by my blocking spammers.

can you block text, the info seems similar each time, little search engine looking for key words phrases and block that and the user who posts it

i'm sure that would raise other issues though, i'm no expert thats for sure

I can... but text blocking is trivial to work around which is why I never tried to stop people swearing on here.

Not unblocked... which means disconnect.me is probably rotating across servers from different hosting companies.

Yeah, but it also means that if this is what the spammer is using then it won't be effective.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow or Monday as the spammer strikes daily.
