My iphone picked up some kind of redirect thing this morning that kept sending me to porn/swinging/hookup sites.

I was on the Foffa thread at the time.

Coincidence?

I also had other tabs open on Glasgowfgss.com and retrobike.co.uk but was in the Foffa thread when it happened. Clearing cookies and history seems to have sorted it.

That's odd; I've just been on a pornsite and when I looked for 'fun with faeces' it sent me to the Foffa website.

I had a similar issue where I went to purchase a brand new Foffa, but it kept redirecting me to some sort of Moser.

What was the outcome? That thread reads like one man talking to himself under 5 different accounts and everyone egging him on.

It's all a bit bizarre, isn't it.

Is that the Parkes thread? If it is then there's another thread on retrobike that was created at precisely the same time, saying pretty much the same thing. And supported by lots brand-new regs going "yeah! me too!"

Rider Down is the only part of the forum to have zero tolerance rules.

You should know this, you've been here long enough.

Families and friends find Rider Down entries very quickly, and it is incredibly upsetting to them to have anything other than respectful posts in those threads.

All speculation, road traffic policy debate, "the rider was to blame", "the driver was to blame"... just absolutely anything that isn't, "that sucks, rest in peace rider"... is pretty much forbidden.

We keep it well-defined: reports, citations, messages of respect.

Your post-deviated from that, and I asked you to delete it or be banned from that part of the forum. You chose to reply and argue, I banned you from that area. Though you did manage to edit your prior post before I had finished banning you.

And you also chose to argue that the spirit of the forum somehow allowed you to be an arsehole in that part of the forum. I disagree, the spirit of the forum is that anyone who acts like an arsehole in that part of the forum gets an immediate reprimand and prevented from doing it again. Which is what happened.

You can sulk all you like, Rider Down is one part of the forum that has a zero tolerance policy for ass-hatery.

quite. i was merely pointing out that it was unfortunate that a group of people were using this tragedy as an opportunity to further their agenda, again, in much the same way as previous posts had pointed out their disdain at media carriers who were reporting reporting the incident chosing to include comments sections. no speculation, no debate, no disrespect, no 'ass-hattery'. In fact, the only questionable behavior came from you as you steamed in with all six guns a blazin', but hey ho, as i said. it's your party, you can do as you please.

Moderators control social misbehaviour. If somebody is misbehaving, this is the thread to complain.

Developers fix problems in the code. If you can't post or pictures aren't appearing or uploads aren't working or your password isn't being accepted, there are threads for that but this is not one of them.

If you don't understand this, you're not too stupid to post...
