Sadly visible rep had to be got rid of because of the awful effect it was having on the forum. And it worked; which is why the forum no longer has to have regular periods of soul searching, is known for being welcoming and doesn't have any members serving bans. Oh. Still at least none of us are rep whores or part of small cliques slapping each other backs. Oh.

More than half the merges are unnecessary, as are I suspect some of the thread title changes.
Merging threads that are essentially duplicates, OK. But actively seeking out and merging threads that happen to have the same word in the title just seems like making work for yourself.

If there's such a shortage of space, then the user merge is the way to go, hello to member "Buffalo Schick" and his grammatically correct childish puns about couriers and bike polo.
