I am not on Facebook and rely on simply googling email addresses and matching up multiple Google results with information for me to then make a pretty good guess as to whether someone on Facebook is the person behind the email.

It's a lot easier with people who are programmers as they tend to have a Github profile and their avatar came from Gravatar and is an md5 of the email address.

I like to tread the thread we're all in this together but I find it impossible to search for any of the terms in the thread name. They all return a blank.

Not a bug, but the stopwords list.

Common English words are not included in the search indexes, as doing so would make the indexes enormous.

It's a problem I realised soon after I started it, and I think I posted about it at the time. As I post in that thread quite a lot, I simply have a bookmark for it now. It happens with very few threads that there are no searchable words in the title. I now try to include at least one fairly rare word that I remember in thread titles if I want to search for them.

Just stick the email address in the Facebook search box - certainly used to work in the past
