Well, that and the sexism, trolling, racism, and probably a load more stuff but I only read the recently reported posts and a few others so I'll constrain the list to just the stuff I read.

I'm kinda done with tolerating perpetual trolls. It didn't need him to start with sexist references, or homophobic comments, but it did make it so much easier.

I always thought that if tolerated trolls would soften over time. But it's not really proven to be the case. And trolls are noisy, they post a lot. It disrupts, causes damage to quality debates and conversations, and leaves a lasting record that it's accepted, which then deters others from participating.

I'm going to start leaning far more heavily on people that troll, especially if they are new (not going to let them believe it's acceptable) or they've been warned before (because they should know better).

Serious question, although I guess the point after would be along the lines of:
"You've been here a while, so here is your warning, change or else"?

Anyway, sad/glad you've been pushed into this corner, can't help but feel it will make moderating a lot easier
