Confused by the recent run of merge requests where the Football thread is not one of the candidates. Has something gone seriously wrong or are these just trolls?

Who merged what? I haven't merged much at all, and nothing into football.

No one has merged anything. Young Bruce was trying to achieve a gentle troll. Although Bruce doesn't participate in the Football Thread he aspires to join in the banter and hilarity that is enjoyed there. One day, his dream may come true. We can only wait and hope.
