Being polite doesn't always achieve anything, but bluntly saying it's a piece of crap and over-priced is surprisingly effective. The only downside is that we have called someone's baby ugly and they are extremely likely to take it badly.

There's a fine line between being unnecessarily offensive to someone and yet being blunt enough to police the market and protect the masses... I'm unconvinced that stepped over the line, the seller is just being precious about their £550 Foffa.

To be fair, the guy joined a couple of days ago. He has made 12 posts 6 of which are in his own sales thread and one post asking why he cannot start a new thread when he has made enough posts to get out of the nursery. Its pretty safe to say that his only intention in joining the forum was to sell what he thought of as his sick biek. Even if he was politely told that it was suboptimal for the price he paid and not subjected to, what is by this places standards, a relatively tame troll attack he would not have hung around.

Oh and out of his remaining five posts that are not about selling his bike 3 are preachy and do make him sound like a right cunt.
