I do honour requests from the thread starter occasionally, usually when there are external circumstances involved.

2 such threads have been deleted or moved this week.

The Pinarello thread has been soft-deleted (it still exists, it's effectively hidden) because of the above request.

And due to an ongoing police investigation the ononelangster selling stolen goods on eBay thread has been moved from a public to a very private space.

I did consider just making the Pinarello thread private, but whereas the ononelangster thing just needed not to be public, the Pinarello one had a greater chance of the people it's affecting (GB related individuals) might still have access even if it were in a private area. Hence whilst I delete rarely, that one got soft-deleted.

GB cycling are probably unhappy about the football thread too - Can you delete that as well?

sergey has had a warning about behaviour in relation to complaints about calling people dumb motherfuckers in sales threads, of others being concerned about payment terms, delivery. And of more people being concerned about the value to the community and whether his presence breaches classifieds rules (not being an intra-community thing).

I've told him to hold off all new adverts until existing transactions are complete and I've heard good things. Any other scenario may result in his being banned. To potential buyers, caveat emptor.
