Fuck it's raining hard in SW

The suns just come out in Norwich and the ground is drying up.

I shall be cheating this year and riding down to Needham Market from Norwich and doing the last 33 miles of the ride.
It will still be over 100 miles including the journey back home, I just don't want to spend £45 on a train to London.

It's raining badly in the East as well.
There's a tiny bit of brighter sky in the SE direction. Maybe it will clear up? According to the forecast it's not supposed to rain until 8.30-9PM (and then for a an hour only).

If it's weather like this - I'm out. I will not be able to persuade my wife to let me go, as I've got a slight cold already. She thinks I will get ill (as usual) and then she'll not be able to work next week and we're behind with bills. Oh, the prose of life! I want to be careless again...

Last minute customisation of a RR on the rear has fixed an ever present hatred of mudguards.

Good question. Just after 9:00pm, I reckon. I've got no plan as such, but on the whole I'd like to keep to a solid pace (not a painful one), clipping along while hoping to bump into familiar faces.

due to a last minute change of heart i wont be able to make the start but thought i would meet up at gt dunmow ride to the sea then ride home. anyone have any idea when people will be going though there?
