Was wondering about this, I see some pictures of m18s attached to low rider mounts and other look like they wouldnt reach. Can you get them with varying strut lengths?
-

Think you can buy extra long struts, or get a local engineer to knock some up. Gonna put mine on me eldests bike as we're doing a 100miler this summer, and I'm not carrying his shit as well as me own.

found this, cheap and nasty but should do the job. Will prob put I on my Croix when build it up. M18 is just too expensive.

But worth it!

Thinking about getting one of these for my croix 30, basically want to be able to run little panniers and my tent on top.
Anything else like this I can look at? Or that would facilitate the same carriage...
Was also looking at this but can't figure if it would carry the panniers? (Will be getting either ortlieb city roller front or plus front)

That is a pretty sweet looking rack, although top maybe not as flexible as the jandd...

On me forks? Already got stuff bolted there, mudguards, gino light bracket, lucky gonk..........
-
• #9386
Aye, just noticed the huge difference of usable space between the two.

OMM Pioneer would be a lot lighter, maybe still big enough.

However, despite looking ideal, turns out they're not waterproof so I'll have to give them a miss.
Not as waterproof as Ortlieb, no, but very decent.

Don't get the Surly one, it's mother fuckingly heavy.
Just go low rider and a small bar bag.
-
• #9390
The Surly one Is fantastic and really well made but heavy sure. The Blackburn Outpost is a poor imitation of the surly and should be avoided!

Lovely. Crazy relaxed geo though.

Huh? Both are 'bar bags' just I'm saying that the pdw is a better all round design then any other bar mounted system......All imho of course

Ok yett another front rack question. This Cinelli has a knock off alu looking version of the M18, that fits to lowrider mounts. Do you think you could buy these separately anywhere or might they be made for cinelli?

It seems to have some sort of branding in this pic, can anyone make out what it says? -

I can look on my gf's, but I think it's just a weight limit.
Nobody seems to want my Genesis Croix carbon forks, so did a tyre test yesterday and my Nano 40c fit with room a plenty. Only thing is don't wanna attach my Nitto m18 rack to carbon forks, so looking at saddlebags, anybody used a Carradice super c saddlepack?
