Does anyone know who makes this?

Rick Hunter from Hunter Cycles.

^thanks. That thing is a beast. For Sale too.

• #4905
could you make that from an old tandem?
-
• #4906
I would guess that a tandem would have been the original inspiration.

Or a long john.

That Pacer is lovely. I'm looking very hard at one but the Genesis Equilibrium 20 is only £50 more and comes win 725 w. a crab0n fork.

My vote goes for surly as they have frames for everyone and not just tall people; 9 sizes ranging from 42cm to 62cm.
I LOVE genesis bikes for what they are but my biggest complaint has been the lack of smaller frames in 700c. Same goes for other British OTP brands; I guess its the market demand that defines it in this country.

Couldn't agree with amey more. Surly win, and genesis colour ways are shit, cream f/f?

Have you seen the [URL="Have you seen the quoted weights for the Genesis? A mistake?

Not even a cool off-white but 80s Vauxhall beige with graphics to match. Total anti on what's otherwise a tidy frame. Compact geometry and 725 means it should ride really nicely.
Surly colours at least change often and decals are removable. I quite like the option of using dt shifters too (which I find nice for a bike that gets dropped/locked/flown/crashed/bashed) #luddite

I vote for the Surly. But that's just because I own one :-) I've done almost 1000 miles on mine in the last two months or so and it's done me proud, putting up with surreys awful roads. More versatile than the genesis in that it can run up to 32c tyres. I appreciate that 725 is lighter than 4130 but it's horses for courses I suppose. Also, Genesis colours are vomit inducing, as mentioned above.

They're now avaliable in 50cm amey, I did tell you that before.

Very nice. Another fantastic Surly. If only they did all their frames in black.

Still no 52cm ETT though

Yep, typo (mixed up with the CdF frameset weight). Should be: 4lbs 4oz /1.92kg (56cm) \ Fork - 1lbs 4oz / 0.56kg (Uncut)
Also Cherry Red version (full bike and frameset) landing Jan/Feb for those not keen on the cream...

That brown tape and bar make it look even worse.
the 2012 version;

AYep, agreed. alas we were tied in to the spec/parts.
-
• #4921
Bit of a shame with the appearance as the specification and price is great (cheaper than 2013).
-
• #4922
Yep, we know the looks have been lacking for a while. We recently hired a nice chap from Scott to work on graphics so expect next years range to be a step up visually (but nothing like Scott).

I'm completely racist against red bikes (despite their legendary performance advantages).
The Fugio looks fantasic... so I know you guys have taste!

Yeah definitely what miro said. Some of your bikes look fantastic!

Dead to me
That really is a sweet looking bike.
