It's a very nice looking bike, but probably not the right thread for it though.. no racks or mudguards..

What's a trendy 26 inch tyre to jam under a 60mm fender? maxxis dth in 2.15 might be cutting it. Marathor supremes in 2.0?
Going to be a commuter so don't need tread but do need some puncture resistance.

I'm liking the look of the new schwalbe hurricane 2.1. I'm going or order a pair soon

They look good. In the end I got a headache looking at tyres and just ordered the marathon supremes. They're the most expensive so must be the best, no?

Def the suprème for puncture protection. I added some sealant in the tubes of my bike with the DTH as I had some puncture with it. Never had any problems with the supremes on two different bikes.

marathon supremes
Fantastic tyres by all accounts

Rat Trap Pass.
Am I beginning to sound like a broken record yet? I do really think it's a great tyre though.

Ace. Pretty close to my ideal distance/comfortbeik build I think.
a couple of questions about it ...
... what are the brakes & levers? Did you use any widgets to tweak cable pull? -
• #23921
V brake levers surely?
I found compressionless housibg help slightly with normal road levers, just feel like a slightly longer throw hydraulic road brakes.

Got some of these for my dad's MTB. Seem pretty good so far. I even managed to set them up tubeless, despite them being non-tubeless, wire bead tyres. Got Gravel Kings on my own bike, so we'll see which wear out first

what are the brakes & levers?
Just some old Shimano V-brakes and Cane Creek Drop V brake levers. Works out of the box. The levers are probably my least favourite part of the bike, because they suck ergonomically. But you really don't have any choice with V-brakes unfortunately. Unless you go for short pull levers and use Travel Agents or Ed's suggestion. And thanks!
