Looking for some visual inspiration/reference material for a bike for Mrs m_v.
I’m thinking, 26” wheels (she’s small, I have tons of tyres, rims etc in this size), 3/5 speed hub, full guards, maybe a front rack/basket.
I’ll be building the frame, probably go dropped toptube for stand over, maybe a mixte.
I wasn’t having much luck trying to google for images to show her.

26" wheels, you say?

Yeah that’s real nice and googling that model has brought up a lot of good builds.
Cheers.

This is my latest build.
A beat up old Claud Butler frame that was brought back to life to be my daily.
It’s built with SRAM Rival 1x and as many colourful parts as possible!

awesome work! I'm loving all the 90s mtb style colourful bits going on at the moment.
What does the forum mind recommend for a flat bar bike that can replace my trail mtb and my old orange mtb that does kid carrying, commuting, shopping etc?
I need flat bars, mudgards, large ish tyres, ideally something I can get as frameset and build myself with some of the bits from the 2 bikes it replaces. Maybe a flat bar straggler, a genesis longitude, what else? Inspire me with pics! -

Lovely. You don't happen to have a link to an European supplier for the cranks?
-
• #23723
What are those cranks like, they're suspiciously cheap on aliexpress
-
• #23724
After your rack crash, I’m not sure I’d be asking for recommendations on suspiciously cheap Chinese parts like cranks 😂

I'm not going to buy them, just speculation
17” MacBook Pro is 15.4” and so is the bag so actually it might be touch and go, sorry. Just assumed it would as it swallows my 13” MacBook with loads to spare.
