That voile strap set up is exactly what I’ve been pondering for attaching my bigxtop bag to a rando rack. Rando rack still needed. Getting rid of ugly Klikfast attachment also needed.

That ain't no shed, that's a garage.

I've done similar with the bigxtop klikfix bag, a sjs canti rack and some cheap green webbing from ebay. Worked well.

It works well enough that I've never considered anything more substantial for the fixing. I put my straps together badly so it's a faff to tighten and loosen. I'd like to try some corrugated plastic for the base but haven't felt it's necessary. I'm planning on rejigging my dolan back to that setup so might pick up some voiles for it when I do.
