That's what I thought as well

I've always loved that look (well, except for the early 80s at the beginning of the MB boom) and have been jealous of people short enough to fit that geometry.

'French fit' innit

Scaling up changes it all for me, though your bike does look lovely.
-
• #22959
Yes, but BBs were much lower too.

A lot of people fit crusts with v short stems too, so they might be able to pull off a larger frame size. Standover might be a pain if that's the case though.

Yeah it's why I bought the bike, that and the bars.
It's in semi-time warp condition. All original part except bars, seatpost, stem and tyres.
Berlin for the time being. -

soon

Someone made it real german with those parts and still didn't ride it.
Very safe those bars, good choice in those uncertain times. And welcome to my hometown!

oh excellent, these things are fun. Will probably fit some 45's without fenders, very generous clearances. Modernize very cool and easily.

Yes you could definitely fit much larger tyres on it. Maybe in the summer if I take the mudguards off!

• #22971
how tall are you and what's your inseam? Just to get a grip
-
• #22972
Oh my.

I previously had a 58cm Disc Trucker, which i didn't find comfortable because the head tube was too short for the size. I was asking him those things because there might be a chance that he shares my measures and finds the 62cm one fine, with that kind of fit.

Yes, but BBs were much lower too.
Not in proportion to the lesser amount of seatpost showing though, saddles were lower, seatposts we manufactured shorter, etc...
Anyway, la bonne longueur pour les jambes c'est quand les pieds touchent par terre... -

Did you wheelie it all the way home?
It's a hard road to the hoops.
