You know this is place has the attention span of a four year old on Red Bull.

BMX geometry made mine twitchy bordering on unstable with any significant weight on the front. Also scary at speeds much above 25mph - possibly it's just that I scare easily.

Only if he does some crazy barspin 180 turn or whatever.
Do you even bike?

Personally I wouldn't bring a kid that close to the bars but whatever pleases you..

Those Petit Porteurs remind me of the Donky (http://donkybike.com), albeit better looking and with a more sensible frame design. Wonder how they ride fully loaded.

Good spot! (= I hadn't seen it)
I sold it to a chap in Telford about 3 years ago - not really a cyclist but he was fed up with the traffic and parking problems, and thought the cycle paths looked usable. -

That was me 8 years ago with fenders and upright handlebars.

it's been on ebay for ages without selling despite low price...i think it's just hard to know how it will ride without having a go?!
-

It looks like he's wanting around the price he paid for it. My guess is the 'home made' element is putting people off, though you're quite right about the ride. I did make him ride up and down the road when he collected it, mainly to confirm the unconventional / hand crafted bits all worked at the time of sale.

So good. Wheels/tyres and mudguards are a massive win.

Yeah they are so much fun. Going to set them up tubeless soon.

Are you using a bikepacking handlebar bag in order not to ruin the empty front rack aesthetics?
-
• #20320
Haha, no I had it fully loaded up for a trip recently and had the dry bag inside..... the paniers were in the garage. It was more convenient.

That's me reassured then ;-)

I've only ridden about on the disc-coaster version and it seemed fine but definitely disc-disc + derailler would be nicer. But I guess it's a different target market, I think the V1 is more short commutes/runs to the shops/school-run. This V2 looks more versatile.
