4L capacity just in case. Longest stretch without any services or known habitation should be atleast 100km so better safe than sorry. Might even chuck a 5L tank in the basket ;)

Great overnighter in the South Downs.
50mm carbons arrive on Monday, then this bike shall be finished - again.

You have the rare body geom that lets a surly fit nicely without ALL the spacers. Looks great.

Thanks!
It originally ran on x35 panaracer khartoums which i had to replace and which i could not find anymore
Hence, i bought panaracer panaselas in x35 as well but those are much wider than the old ones
Now its really tight clearance but works

This is cool. Is it an old MTB?

Even though they're more noodley than other step through designs, I just love the look of a nicely balanced mixte.

Continental Sport Contact ^
These come in 584 x 32.
Anyone know if they're any good?
-
• #19448
You mean the II?
I like mine in 622 x 42.
Pretty light, great ride, cheap. -

^ this. Got them in 42, can't believe how good they are for a tenner. Far far better than the gravel kings I had on before

Cheers.
I can only find ‘sport contact speed’ in 650b. Hopefully that compares. What is it with German tyre brands and endless iterations of the same tyre?
I might try them as an alternative to Kojaks (which have been puncture proof, cost nothing and ride ok ... but are not v supple).
My Stavanger loaded up once again
