Seriously neat. Dynamo light would be nice on the rear rack loop thing

I'm temted to try to bodge something from a tubus front low rider rack.

I was thinking the same thing β mounting to canti studs would work with a bit of fettling.

Don't forget the bottle cage on the seat tube above the seatstay

that's wonderful, but 150g carbon seatpost + large saddle bag, is that safe?

Dat head tube/fork

Wouldn't you rather put weight / bag down by the cluster and then saddle mounted TT style bottles?
Would look less fugly too.

Just made a quick mock up.
I reckon you could use a modified Tubus Tara hoop with some fairly generic intersecting rack mount hardware. Hardest bit would be the horizontal struts and also working out how the mudguard interfaces with the hoop. I was thinking that something like a sleeve nut (like a recessed brake nut) recessed into the top of the hoop brake with adjustable spacers could work.
All parts readily available from SJS β this could be done with a hacksaw, a drill and a vice. Welding is for chumps.
Anyone got an old Tara they're looking to punt?

then saddle mounted TT style bottles?
In my experience, once roads get a bit less than perfect bottles start jumping out of seat mounted cages.

Yeah, heard that can be an issue βΒ though I'm sure Mr English is more than capable of making a cage that can hold a bottle.

Excellent.
The only problem is that it would have to be titanium to match the Tubus rear rack I have on the front of the bike. :D -

I'm sure he knows more than I do (classic internet comment), but I can't see a reason why those struts couldn't go to the seatstays and saddle rails

The seatpost is supporting 70-80kg of human, I doubt 4kg of luggage is going to bother it

Zefal HPX
For anyone wondering, its from http://www.meerglas.org/.
He builds very nice bikes. Bit to fussy for my liking, but this one is excellent!
(Edit, the green one, not the red one obviously)
