Not sure who's having the piss taken out of them here.

Got a spare Deore one if you want it instead.

I'm keeping it classic, the Rally is the only classic Campag that can handle the big jump between 46t to 30t (with 14-28 freewheel).

The Middleburn triple look so much better on that bike than the more obvious options.
There is a bit of 'constant uphill' going on with that one though...

Ed are you wanting rid of the Tiagra, I desperately need a new rear derailleur on my 'cross bike.
-
• #1433
Good thing thought - the Tiagra is a long cage one capable of handling 11-28t and compact/triple.
will send you a pm as soon as I got a replacement.

have fun trying to find a 650b inner tube (or a 26" roadster tube) in 'Bikes R Us' in Halifax at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon.
Not promoting 650B, but inner tubes is no prob, just get a 559 size and you're set.
-
• #1435
even my bike shop have a couple of 650B inner tube in stock (even cotter pin).

^ they stretch all right? I read that they don't, but I suppose it's only 25mm after all.
-
• #1437
Strangely enough, the most commonly available tires out here are still 650A size, the one that so many Raleigh and other town bikes came with.
-
• #1438
it's similar in the sense of using 18-25c inner tube in an 28c tyres, perfectly fine.

One size (diameter) in any direction usually works.

i'm sorry to say this, but that is pretty awful
-
• #1444
Haha, it is well ugly! I don't know why I put it here, maybe the bags and mental frame/set up made me think it made doing something easy.
-
• #1445
the more you look, the less sense it makes

Doesn't make much sense, custom frame made to look totally shit.

^ "For example I wanted a Zero Gravity brake caliper to go with the Woundup fork because they both have a (sic) that post modern high tech industrial chic thing going on..."
This person has nothing to say.

he's a texan, that explains it

Is this what's know as a reverse scoble...?
