Bad traders

We sent a birthday card to a friend by 1st class. Within London. Took 7 days to arrive. Stuff just isn’t working like normal.

I’m not seeing many delays tbh. Everything I have ordered in the last few weeks has been on time; including a dhl express from America arriving a day early! Been off for 2 weeks... ordered lots.

I've had some stuff take 3 days some stuff take 14-think it just depends on each hub and how they're coping.

Stuff is taking about 20 days to get to me at the moment.

Have you called royal mail...it's the only way to get info on a non-tracked/non-signed for item, if you have the code?

Also, as lots of people are saying, it does really depend but there are a lot of delays for many people.

this is why I always send folk an image of the reciept showing time/date sent and their address. Less potential for stress or recriminations if things go awry....

The seller did send a picture of the postage receipt. Not commenting on anything else as I feel bad enough already.

I like to say sorry to the seller I called out here. The pedals arrived today and I jumped the gun. Not going to @ name as I don’t want him to be linked to this thread and I’ll pm now as well.

Can’t vouch for his in any great way other than sold him a frame and a few other bits over a couple of years ago. He came to the pub I was at to collect and stopped for a couple of pints with me and some of my friends. Seemed a nice guy and he’s been on here a few years now so hope you’re not being done over.

I'm also waiting for a reply on something I paid for 3 months ago. Not a huge deal as it was a low cost item and actually it was a forum donation. I'd like to get the item though.

Alright Phil, I can vouch for him, met Ben many times and been around to his home etc, always been totally trustworthy and super sound. I know he has a young baby, so maybe just life getting in the way... Hope you resolve the issue soon.
