Hey guys we are having some epic cycling weather and if your not all careful you'll miss every bit of it.... just saying

Someone needs to hurry up and make a bad trade so we can move on.

The guy should just be banned from the thread, for his own good.

I've just read through this conversation segment and just thought "Wow, some people have got really small lives."

Wow, the last 6/7 pages are quite a read.

Just banned Rogel.pilar@yahoo.com again, a.k.a. @Brooklyn @1993 and so many others.

Purchased a pair of Rapha softshell gloves from @skinnylegs. I asked him directly if the gloves had any blemishes of obvious signs of wear. He replied saying they did not.

The gloves arrived, smelling absolutely revolting and with a hole in the thumb. These are softshell gloves that are supposed to be water resistant. A hole is definitely a sign of wear and should have been disclosed.

I have pm'd @skinnylegs and his reply was "Sorry mate but they were never advertised as new. The price was reflective of the condition. £20 for some high-quality soft shell gloves, they won't be in perfect condition."

I have since replied three times over the past three days. No reply. I believe I should be entitled to send the item back for a refund.

Originally it was silly things like advertising in multiple places, and bizarre habit of creating fake profiles to up himself, and bump his advertisements.

Since then it's just been a game of whack-a-mole and now he's banned far more because he's banned over anything else.

He does appear to be OK at trading, does appear to not have much in the way of complaints... but still has that air of being a bit odd in his approach rather than being upfront, honest, trustworthy.

Then again... trust is earned. Perhaps we should be giving him that chance to prove why we should trust him, so long as he stops fucking around.

Yeah, as far as I've heard in my communication with him, as to why he was banned, he didn't understand the rules to begin with, and then ended up with a reputation for himself. He is clearly motivated to be a part of the community, so I think it's worth giving him a chance to earn back trust.

I've dealt with Rogel a few times, I'd say he's a little flakey hence the confusion over forums rules, but otherwise trustworthy.

I've also dealt with him before without problems
