Fortunately this morning I still had a browser tab open from before he closed it. So I managed to get all his photos of the bike and the original post he wrote.

It also allowed me to edit my post and shout a bit at him - @Velocio I think I might have found a bug :)

Thanks for your effort, but from now on its non of your business.
I allready sent a private message to @dwl, and he is aware of the whole situation, I am waiting for his response.
I closed the topic, as I created it, so I have the right to do so.
The whole situation is unpleasant enough for me too, I dont want any public discuss about it.
If dwl wants to create a new topic about this, its up to him.
I am outa here, and will take the case further with dwl in private.

I'm not sure what can/should be done here? It wasn't even my bike when it was stolen, but I had only sold it to @dwl a couple of weeks before it was taken from him. So I naturally feel pretty pissed off about the whole situation.

@brnaby002 did indeed return the bike this evening. Nice guy in really difficult circumstances, no complaints from me. Thanks again Barnaby, really appreciate your decency.

I was going to say this all day but didn't want to thwart the possible positive outcome. Going from 170 to 450 is a pretty good mark up!

Yeah, that and despite being total it was a stolen bike was still demanding his £170 back from the person the bike was stolen from.

Right I might get hammered for this but I think it's sneaky! I was recently in discussions to buy a Campy groupset from cybernck recently but all he could offer was a direct bank transfer as a payment option! I said I would only pay using Paypal and the sale fell through.
