@Brnaby002 trying to sell a stolen bike over here:
https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/297504
He's deleted all the content and shut the thread down, which a) makes him look guilty and b) is fucking annoying.
Fortunately this morning I still had a browser tab open from before he closed it. So I managed to get all his photos of the bike and the original post he wrote.
It also allowed me to edit my post and shout a bit at him - @Velocio I think I might have found a bug :)

Thanks for your effort, but from now on its non of your business.
I allready sent a private message to @dwl, and he is aware of the whole situation, I am waiting for his response.
I closed the topic, as I created it, so I have the right to do so.
The whole situation is unpleasant enough for me too, I dont want any public discuss about it.
If dwl wants to create a new topic about this, its up to him.
I am outa here, and will take the case further with dwl in private. -

You've contacted the Police?
-
• #4333
No, should I?
-
• #4334
I am waiting for dwl-s response, its up to him, whatever he wants to do.
-
• #4335
I think I will wait to hear from @dwl and give @Brnaby002 a chance to make good on his promise
-
• #4336
So how did @Brnaby002 get the bike?
Did you buy it stolen, or are you the thief?
-
• #4337
Even though its a question, watch your mouth tom who you call a thief!!!
-
• #4338
Does not compute:
"Are you a boy or a girl?"
"Don't you dare call me a girl!"

Internet tough guy!

You have to grow up tough with a name like Barnaby.

Just shusssh. Dont ask!

The fella appears to have given back said biek tonight (see other thread). So maybe a bit defensive, but came round in the end?
-
• #4344
@brnaby002 did indeed return the bike this evening. Nice guy in really difficult circumstances, no complaints from me. Thanks again Barnaby, really appreciate your decency.
-
• #4345
I take back my earlier comment, well done for coming through.
-
• #4346
So bought cheap and attempted to flip for profit but caught out? Fair play for returning the bike but were you really all innocent @Brnaby002 ?

I was going to say this all day but didn't want to thwart the possible positive outcome. Going from 170 to 450 is a pretty good mark up!
-
• #4349
Yeah, that and despite being total it was a stolen bike was still demanding his £170 back from the person the bike was stolen from.

Right I might get hammered for this but I think it's sneaky! I was recently in discussions to buy a Campy groupset from cybernck recently but all he could offer was a direct bank transfer as a payment option! I said I would only pay using Paypal and the sale fell through.
Quoting @cybernck
Even if I were able to take PayPal payment for the groupset, it normally takes 30-60 days for payments to propagate for withdrawal and at the moment all the funds are in the "pending period" and I can't withdraw any money, while having paid for loads of items to be shipped recently - my hands are currently tied up and I couldn't pay for postage of your parts - so the sale would be pointless.
With Azimo I get an instant cash payout and can ship without worries and buy other things too.
So, for now, at least until some money propagates, so I can withdraw it and receive more payments - it's a no go, sorry.
Oh but that didn't stop him posting it on Ebay with Paypal as an option the very same day!
Dude our business is concluded! You might have good feedback here but outright lying gets you found out!
He certainly does.
