I swear to God this has happened just now, it was two before.

Oh, god.Fuck thats stupid.
I have loads of small scars over my whole body, from doing this once with glass bottles of stella.
Always think of it as an act of extreme idiocy. Now theres a product to encourage it.

It makes me weep with frustration. Hopefully it won't make it into production.

If you have a rack, just tie the shopping bag together;
Plus;
Highway Code 66
You should
keep both hands on the handlebars except when signalling or changing gear
keep both feet on the pedals
never ride more than two abreast, and ride in single file on narrow or busy roads and when riding round bends
not ride close behind another vehicle
not carry anything which will affect your balance or may get tangled up with your wheels or chain
be considerate of other road users, particularly blind and partially sighted pedestrians. Let them know you are there when necessary, for example, by ringing your bell if you have one. It is recommended that a bell be fitted. -

Shoe innovation?

• #108
No.

Seems like it would be more practical for waking around in than traditional cleats, no idea how well it would actually work though.

Shoe innovation?
I like the idea, will be out of my price range though,

The idea that the pedal system would allow you to get lower / run a lower seatpost is silly - surely you'd have to compensate for your feet being lower to the ground by raising the BB height? So the pedal system change would also require a frame design change.

Yeah, it looks like it has potential in this area. You'd need to have a very solidly-built cleat and shoe for it not to just shear off or twist around like crazy and hurt your foot, though.

What about float? I just skimmed through but and have no idea how they'd include float or even how one would unclip.
-
• #114
That and they say that the shoes make cornering easier / safer. How? You're a good few cm nearer to the ground at the apex of the corner.
-
• #115
If you hit the ground you won't get pedal strike, your foot would get knocked up and unclipped by the floor.
-
• #116
And though your foot is lower there is no material under it so you are no more likely hit it.
-
• #117
Looks kinda shit though.

I can't imagine the bearings lasting very long. I'd like to see it tested though

Holy shit.

I seem to be posting innovative bike concepts in the wrong threads, so a dedicated thread would be useful for those of us that want to see where 21st century bicycle design is heading.
Bicycle concepts of today might be blown out of the water by the LFGSS connoisseur due to their initial conception but I like to see the bicycle evolving in new directions. So I hope this is useful.
CLAUSE: Some bikes and parts have already been produced but are not commonly produced or manufactured.
here are a few I have posted in the past:

^^ That's not a concept.
So is 3D printing lugs as a handful of manufacturer is already doing it.
Surely a concept is something that'll never go into production? such as the Cannondale Dutchess;
