Well, well. Top day out from start to finish if I do say so myself
Proper bunch of riders - wetlips who bailed>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Good to meet some of the Oxford lads, thanks for joining us - hope you had a good day out and a safe ride back - thanks for the guidance from the pub to the Henley RdSome decent riding and riders, decent roads with everything on offer, descents, couple of climbs, flat, relatively car free roads and some lovely countryside/views...
With the exception of the tit working behind the bar, the pub was a laugh with some much needed lotions drank and some good old forum banter. Probably our best view of the Kites too on the whole ride, soaring overhead. Leaving the pub down to Henley through Stonor we must've seen a flock of atleast 20-25 up on the hill to our left....
Good ride from the pub down into Henley, steady descent leading to a flat - nice 6-7 mile cruise. The ride from Henley to Reading was good too, strong riding from allBIG thanks to all who guided us through - Jonny, Clint and Shoots especially, I wouldn't have had a clue really! ;-)

Pah thats nothing compared to the flock we saw on the way back to Oxford, there must have been millions... literally!
First forum ride for me so really good to put some names to faces. The ride back to Oxford was good fun with some tough work into a stiff headwind just to finish off the legs at the end.
Great Scenery, kites, drinks (I particularly enjoyed the err.. pub lunch) great company and great ride!
Enjoy your cycle!

I had a dally about today on the bike for the first time in ages and the old shoulder ain't quite up to it. Out. Gutted.
You were missed, Josh, you melt.

Hah!^ Good one.
Great riding with you all, some really good tight group riding in some pretty windy bits particularly, and good signalling and pretty smart TNRC-worthy singling-up when traffic passed. The pub, as G said, was a really good laugh. Great effort by Ewan Andy and Alex to come all that way to meet us, on their own big loop from Oxford and back, and good work Tom for hooking up with us too. Glad to have you aboard.
EYC!

My mate went to The Loft with Mancuso yesterday, said it was shite. Glad I did the ride instead

In a nutsell, yes
He got bored after an hour and went home, said the DJ worship was unbelievable. Load of Teds that bought a few 'Larry Levan compilations' and think that disco is just Salsoul and Westend
of course we saw quite a few red kites and got particularly close at the top of the hill between turville and christmas common. sharing photos on the train on the way back showed how difficult it was to get a decent picture of them. was pretty pleased i managed to take this one:
