I’m a chef by trade. My local pizza place was struggling and I haven’t really done pizza before so offered to do some shifts over summer. This is what I made for myself at the end of the shift.

This sale is just a bit too tempting, I'm pretty certain I'm going to get a Koda 12.
Any recommendations on where to get peels, and what kind of price is reasonable? There seem to be huge variations in price.

If you can find a gozney roccbox ones I think they are really good, used one for years before I got a GI

I think I paid Mr Bezos about £25 and it's perfectly functional, I don't have any issues launching pizza.
I wonder if i'd been slightly better off with a non-perforated one but I certainly wouldn't bother replacing it now.

I like to launch of a wood one, well floured. Then use a metal Lidl one to remove. You'll want something to turn too.

Same setup here. Wooden one for prepping and launching, metal one for turning and plating. Spare metal one for when too many toppings makes it a bit soggy and things start to stick.

I picked up the metal Lidl one and have ordered the Koda 12. Am I right in thinking the peel is gonna be too big? Think it measures 36cm in width

I've been told I started dinner too early but this garlic bread pulled quite well so I'm posting it. Let's see how bad I burn it.
Edit to add photos.

Cheers for the peel suggestions. I've picked up a metal one from Lidl and will see what I can find in the way of wooden ones.
Next thing, where to buy a gas bottle from? Is it one of these things I'm looking for?

Is £100 for a bottle about right (cursory googling seems to suggest it is but I may be missing something)? Are you tied in to refills from the same place?

Yes that’s what you want. Our local place is still not selling new cylinders, only exchanges, apparently still a shortage?!
You’re not tied into that shop, but most places will only swap (paid - exchange) like for like, so probably tied into the 13kg bottles.

I got the ooni wooden one, it was ok price but works well

Your local B&Q is your best chance

Instead of paying £50 for bottle rental, look at FB marketplace or gumtree for empty bottles.
I paid £5-10 for a 13kg bottle and then straight to the local garden centre to swap for a full bottle at just the gas price.

spent this morning going over the stone with the ooni oven brush until it felt smooth then ran it at full tilt for about 90 minutes and thankfully it seems to be coming back. waiting for it to cool so i can rotate the stone 180 and get the burnt bits at the front. am bit pissed it lost it's box fresh appearance already though but I'll get over it.
Firing up the oven this evening and this is how my stone looks at the start, and this is the clean side!

No, there is a Caputo blue pizza flour but it isn't the one pictured. Out of those above go for Red.

Ah crap. I had in my head blue was the colour to go for so picked up that
