took things a little less full pelt and dialled the flame down before launching then let it do its thing a little slower.
gave the dough from these guys a crack https://northerndoughco.com/ in the weekly shop and made sure it was at room temp after defrosting overnight by putting it in one of our south facing rooms that are a little warmer than the kitchen for about 7 hours. was able to stretch it up easy peasy and then I went over it with my new docker to keep it a bit lower as I like it puffy but not 2" high.
crust was nice and airy and whole thing was delicious. If i can keep banging them out like this while I get a bit of experience under my belt it will be more than enough for me.

Same, I suspect my burner has gone a bit shit rather than the stone being the problem though.

Sorry not to UTFS but does anyone have any experience or suggestions for a pizza oven that would work in rectangular outdoor fireplace? It’s made of concrete and has an extractor fan but otherwise it’s just a big rectangular hole, so I guess I’d need something on legs that I would light a fire under. I could try drilling in some rails if that’s the best option though.

Or if the flour has weevils living in it.

Not sure even if you utfs anything would come up.
With no experience, would one of the pizza ovens that go on a BBQ do? Have seen them but zero experience.

yeah, i've been wondering if I should upgrade to the koda 12. it probably retains heat better generally ...
but i hate upgrading crap that's technically working and potentially fixable ...

It's More Likely you're running low on gas and not getting enough energy into the oven.
Or the stone is damp and heating up slower

Caught Emma in a mild panic just now when she realised she hadn't asked me what I wanted yet and somehow managed to swing that into her agreeing to buy that one I linked for me without any emotional blackmail or anything.
I think she secretly realises it will mean better pizzas for her if she gets it.

I cannot understand how it's possible to have that many uneaten pizzas at the same point in time
interesting, do the ooni stones go bad at all?
I basically got my ooni way before the pandemic, back when they were call uuni. So my stone has seen a lot of action but lately I find its not retaining heat as well. Is it worth splurging for a new stone, or trying to clean it somehow?
