  • It seemed to be watery mozzarella/tomato juice, it took something away from the pizza for me. I would go again but I reckon it's more of a knife and fork job haha.

  • I'm thinking about getting a custom bike made with a pizza oven on it... anyone seen owt like that before?

  • no but i'd talk to hulsroy on here

    http://hulsroygundersen.com/

  • Due to his utility bike? Looks good but have plans and a builder in mind/sorted.

  • What is the weight of the oven? I would have thought anything worth using would be prohibitively heavy?

Saw one in Copenhagen a few weeks ago...

not the clearest of pictures, sorry, but the oven was wood fired

  • ^ Ha! Well done for thinking to take a picture!

Must be a bit of a bitch to trawl around though, I'd imagine?

  • Well done Pasquale!

Indeed. It's great to see such recognition!

  • Thank you very much !!

for the wet/sloppy/soggy pizza, well guys, that is how neapolitan is supposed to be.

That is called softness, which is the most difficult part to make, the reason it cookies for 50 seconds, and thats why you need skilled people to do it. If you go to Naples, you'll eat exactly the same pizza.
We don't do dry, crispy and hard based pizza. Sorry about that.

  • I like your pizza's and I couldn't give a shit what anyone else thinks.

    • elevnty billion
  • I never liked 'pizza', i.e. what you're normally served as 'pizza', much until I went to Santa Maria, where you get pizza. :)

  • Fuck 'em - they're critics, they're paid (bribed) to write negatives about what's produced.

  • ..'merica.

    Mac & Cheese pizza ..wtf..

    Schick as fuck.

  • Decent pizza centralish...talk to me.

Bit late to the game here, but: Homeslice.

  • I've also been enjoying Franco Manca on Broadway Market recently. Cheap and decent, with decent wine to boot.

I was very anti-Franco Manca for a long time, because I'd had 2 truly horrendous meals (holistically; food, service, atmosphere, drinks) in the Brixton joint, and because it's effectively run by Pizza Express. However, I can't fault the Broadway Market place. V good.

If anyone works/lives around the Old Street / Shoreditch area, I've got a 241 offer for Sodo pizza and the George and Vulture on Pitfields Street every monday, and rarely have company. If you want in, just PM me.

  • To hell with Franco Manca! Pitching up opposite Bella Vita...

  • Went to Santa Maria on way back to Nottingham. Ate pizza too fast, because it was incredible. Now enjoying the aubergine thing in Nottingham

  • Got the dough on the go for the 'Foolproof Pan Pizza'.

    Pizza Dough

We shall see if its any good tomorrow.

  • Woaaaaah

  • Found that on some other forum - where someone posted this along with the question
Has science gone too far ??

  • The possibilities are endless.

I'm sure it's a no, but is there anywhere half decent around London Bridge for grabbing a slice? I can't think of anywhere and don't wanna have to venture further south or central, eurgh.
