Only joking - it's amazing how strong a rider you've become in such a short time. [/swoon]
I don't feel like I've had a proper spin out till I hit 40mph in a 67" gear ;)

False alarm re: time, leaving Peckham now, I'll get there when I get there.

25 miles, 22.8mph, cheated and spent most of the time behind mopeds or others. I am tired and worn. See you all soon.

Nice pace tonight, seemed to run out of steam though after about 18 miles. But then bumped into Jung and did one more lap with him. Swains on the way home was a tougher than normal.
Need to do a few more of these.

Amen.
Had a small post-work Swaining myself. It was good. I'm now converting a few audiobooks to MP3.

My bike sounds and feels like it's going to explode, but that's the only thing wrong at the moment. So possibly business as usual. Lights fully charged please gents, the nights are drawing in. Also, not entirely sure how long it'll take me to get to the park, but I'll aim for 6:30 at the usual spot-ish.

I will be meeting Rollapaluza at 7 for some laps on the South East corner of the park if anyone fancies it.
What time are you heading over? You practicaly have to ride past my work to get there.

I'll be leaving here at 6ish; previous experience suggests I'll be getting to the park at 6:30ish (did it slowly last night along the gridlock hell of Harrow Rd, Westway, Marylebone Rd, not the best route but the only one I could remember from a quick glance at a map).
I think I was getting ahead of myself with the previous post - had a pretty shitty ride in today and don't feel tip top (neither does the bike) so if anything it'll just be an hour of pootling or a half hour of power. Or a trip to the flask. -

I will be leaving from Notting Hill at arround the same time but going down Bayswater, Sussex Gardens, Marilabone road. I will be doing laps of the outer circle if you fancy that. I dont feel that great either but need to put some miles in. I was thinking an hour of laps followed by Swains and a pint.

I'll prolly be there for a few laps on a freshly tweaked bike (smaller handlebars and stem), en route to a chum out West.
Last night's inaugural hilling was an absolute blast and I'm now keen to try bike on the flat. I'm definitely a bit sore though, because last night's inaugural hilling was an absolute blast.

not me, I got Jiu Jitsu tonight :(
Indeed. I was just behind you and I thought it was a bit impressive. Perhaps one day.
But I'm cool with that. Until March last year, the furthest I had ever gone on a bike was about 10 miles, and my average annual mileage on a bike was about 20 miles, so I am moving in the right direction :)
@Tom - Can do 6.00, can probably do about 5.50 at a push.
