i know it's early and i know 6pt. is prepping for tomorrow. what time are we attacking swain's?
-
• #328
I'm mocking up websites at work. Not exciting, productive or useful. Meet same place, same time, roll up to Swains en masse was my thinking.

6pt: sounds fine. i'm trying to entice cliveo out to some swain's *fun. *
7ish? -

Swain's Lane is a tidy little hill that takes you from the top of Kentish Town up to Highgate Village.
I'll be arriving at that York Bridge gate bit at 6:30-ish, waiting til 6:40–6:45 for stragglers, then pedalling up to the base of Swains. 7ish meet at the quiet bit at the base of Swain's just past where the bus-stop is would be about right.
3 laps, a slow 6 minutes a lap (up Swain's, down Highgate West), 10 minute pootle back to the park and a half hour whirlwind of power will do an hour(ish) nicely. -

Christ that sounds worryingly regimented.
-
• #332
Regimented? Fucking hell, you should see some of my collection of turbo/roller workouts.
-
• #333
Regimented by my standards.
Yeah, as the weather become less conducive to sunny strolling I might have to ask you about some of those turbo sufferfests you inflict upon yourself. They sound entertaining in that special sort of way. -
• #334
I'm very special. Likewise my needs.
-
• #335
Maybe it's better for everyone if I don't know.
-
• #336
3 times. I couldn't possibly imagine...
-
• #337
most people don't have to prove a point.....

• #338
I don't think I can handle any more without changing my gearing, which isn't going to happen. How many did you end up doing at Swaintoux, bmmf, 40 odd?
-
• #339
i go round on 65.

• #340
84' I believe

Yeah, 40. I was on for 50, but Faith nagged me to come home and eat. Fair enough. It was boring to the power of Joey face anyway.

Swain's has proved too much for Damo, so despite the chatter this week will be the usual round the park jobby, alas with Damo resting his legs at home. Another time, power rangers.
-
• #343
oof. that was low.
-
• #344
Name and shame!
(Not that I feel up to Swain's either, I'm just hiding behind your decision)
-
• #345
any news?
-
• #346
Some news, yes. I'm not sure I'm what they're after, they're not sure they're what I'm after, but I've got a week trial from 14th Sep to find out. Which is really handy and very nice of them.

• #347
