Good to see that you are still in one piece Tom. We could have done with another wheel in the wind. Mr Guerciotti was a bit of a beast. Unfortunately he left me to complete the 8th lap on my lonesome.
Stats for tonight.

Oi! Hope you're ok though, srsly.

And I'm not sure HoP works for me tbh, I seem to be all about pwning climbs and long days in the saddle these days...

O right, impressive trackstands, Hi.

Yes. New assos held stryong. Shame about the kneewarmer though. Still waiting to be seen, regretting not sleeping or eating enough in the last 24 hours right now, but relishing the impending enforced rest days.
So bored, Oli doing a sterling job on sudden-loss-off-consciousness watch. -

That reply is many posts late. I blame being punched in the face by angry tarmac.

Waiting for a face x ray. If only they'd seen a before picture, they'd be congratulating me on the improvement the rearranging has provided and sending me on my way.

GWS, Tom.
I managed to hang on for a lap in the 68" gear on the Brompton in civvies with my bag - avg speed for the lap was over 22mph - maybe your lap 4, as I then eased off to trundle round with Sasmon; but then nearly caught up again, so that must've been your slow lap. Would've been good to be on the road bike, and be in a position to whip you into some decent rolling rotation shape, instead of the gross inefficiency I witnessed tonight ;)
At 24mph / 120rpm for protracted periods, when my bag shifted on my back, it sent a weird wobble down the Brompton 'stem', to the front wheel. Fun, fun, fun.
Nice catching up with Sasmon. His daughter made a good choice of frame finish :)

Tom, Sorry to hear about the off. Glad to hear you are still alive.
It was fun to take the new bike for a spin. I did a couple of laps, then stopped to tweak the saddle height, then jumped on the back again for another lap before deciding to stick at Bmmfrompton pace for a couple laps. Scarlett makes that thing go unaturally fast.
The new bike needs a few more tweaks but so far I am happy with the new toy.

That doesn't sound good, hope it's procedural..? And you're ok.

Sorry about breaking the second group apart so badly, didn't mean to go off the front so fast! Good ride though. Hope you're alright 6pt.

3 hours 57 from entry to wound cleaning and off home. no garmin log so I can't tell you what the average speed was, but suffice it to say that it was a little below usual. I mumbled something about aiming for a sub hour next time, depending on legs.
Massive thanks to the 6pt support vehicle and crew tonight, I was all over the place but have made it home thanks to the favours and time of others.
Catch some of you at the track, Saturday.

Hope you're recovering mr 6pt.
Pleasure as always riding with you Jaygee. Sorry I had to whizz off a bit early for cinema duties.
Si - I'm in love with the colour of your new bike.
Adoubletap - hullo, I was the chap on the black colnago, nice riding with you.
BMMF - didn't see you at all, one of these days.

I sat and span at the back of your quartet, lest I go blind from being too close to your jersey.

Excellent use of vocabulary I say. Lest is more...
