He's a fox hunting cunt and all.

Who still thinks blackface is just fine.

Yer but but fox numbers need to be controlled and you just hate posh people

• #3357
I don't remember that thread but I stand by my comment.

I'm with you on that one

Bjork.
Almost every one of her songs sounds like she's making up the tune and lyrics as she goes.

She was great in the 80s and 90s and had the best music videos for a while

Brilliant Sugarcubes first album. Very meh after that

This. Mutya/Keisha/Siobhan were never bettered.

Her new one is wild. Wasn't expecting it to turn in to a gabber song at the end. I'm sort of in the same boat as you, can't get in to most Bjork but she's had some bangers over the years.

Which one used to serve up lines from her tater tots?
-
• #3365
gabber
I’ll be the judge of that. Got a link?
-
• #3367
Thats a good song
-
• #3368
Quite like that, nice bit of dissonant jazz gabber atbthe end there
-
• #3369
I reckon she's watched In The Night Garden one too many times.

Don't you dare disrespect Homogenic like that!
Atopos struck me as very self-caricatural though, even though I don't dislike it. Biophilia left me with the same impression. I haven't listened to her work since, so I might be terribly wrong, but I feel the very minimalist production puts the emphasis on her vocal idiosyncrasies, which makes every recent song of hers sound very similar and, as written above, caricatural.

That new Bjork one is particularly grating to me, whereas some people think it's great. I do not get it.

As long as you can thrust along to the beat.
-
• #3374
Re-read it once or twice, I'm sure you'll figure it out!

I’ll be honest, I was hoping for a bit more GABBA UP YOUR ASSSSSS or FOK FOK FOK FOK or please stop smoking and hide your drugs, we are about to land in hartcore cidy (and maybe some 180+ bpm) but I can kind of see the gabber there. Bold Bob’s Bold Bass is still better at destroying a set of bass bins IMO.
I’ve only ever heard him played or mentioned on XFM. I assumed he was on a label run by the station and they had a vested interest. Crap though certainly
