You dont even have to sneak in, you can just stroll on up, theyre all friendly round there.

My route is okay.. although Duncton Hill is a monster of a climb and the latter end of the route was on busy (but wide) Aroad
Its quick and easy to follow.
Maybe try the A286 Haslemere rd instead of the A283
and let me know if its okay.I wouldn't worry the slightest about 'security' the barrier is just a flimsy pole & the beach is truly endless - no way a security guard would take any notice of you once you've sailed through.

WHAAATTT!!!
Duncton Hill is about 500m and only about 9%. Its a small rise.
Thats where I cycle regularly, easy hill.
You wanna go check out hills around Arundel, much much worse than baby Duncton Hill. -

This is a good little stretch of hill round there, still not that steep though.

Well I wouldn't really recommend this ride if your looking for climbs.. I thought the whole idea was to get to West Wittering beach.
In which case looking at the terrian going via the A286 Haslemere rd avoids all the hills.
not sure why I didn't go that way in the first place.
Ive slept there many a time its fine.
Your best bet is to leave just as its closing up and head to a pub and drink there till closing time and then head back to the beach. You want to be as far round East Head as you can, firstly because its nicer and sand duney and secondly because its miles to walk there so you wont be bothered.
Drop me a pm if you want to know any more.
