So stupid to be going that fast with a car with it's hazards on in front of it.

It's a fairly typical crash where nearside filtering is involved. The rider him- or herself (can't tell from the arm what gender they are) would have to say whether they went faster because of the presence of the nearside cycle lane, but it's a possibility.

I flinch everytime I see it.

Shouldnt have been going that fast to be fair.

that happened to me once because a passenger decided to get out at traffic lights (that were on green)

It taught me not go so quick up the inside of cars even though I'm in the cycle lane.

Happened to me on Jamaica Road the other day. Riding up the green strip into the ASZ while cars wait at a red light when the passenger door of a white van swings open.
I came to a halt with the corner of the door mm away from my throat!

Me too. Got doored a few years ago going south on Peckham Hill St. Passenger getting out whilst in front of a zebra crossing. Learnt the hard way to never filter on the left.

Same with me doored at a zebra crossing.

since we're at it, I got doored by a passenger but the car was parked and facing me... I managed to drop my shoulder and slammed the door back into the chaps head... I feel he'll look every damn time now

Nice work, i always wonder if i do get doored if i can hit it hard enough to bend it out of shape. Surely that would make them look twice.
