What is it?

'Unpickable' bike lock. Might be unpickable, but it doesn't look particularly resistant to an angle grinder or car jack.

i'd just sit there playing with it

I used to go round picking family and friends' locks after getting a lock picking set from my brother for Christmas. My mum was not impressed.

It's a weird thing, but this is one of the few countries where lock picking equipment is not regulated. You would be worried if you knew how quickly I could get through your front door / through your D Lock.
What really is scary though is a newish skill-less entry technique known as 'lock snapping' that all the scrotes are learning. Got a protruding EuroLock on your front door? Go change it please.

^yes I know that one! needs locking pliers and off you go. My brother had a lease on a small hotel a few years back and all the doors where locked with no keys. I paid a locksmith £100 to open one of them and watched what he did from the side. Shook his hand and off he went. Then I copied the technique 30 more times :)
