I did, I'm inferring that I don't believe you, and that you just want more money.
-
• #28
I'm with Andy.w on this... the fact that you don't a price close to it's eBay market value suggests you're just after some more money. If you want £260 out it on eBay with a reserve.

Should have put a resevrve on it as Buckaroo suggeste.
Either that or sell it here for £195.
-
• #30
No it isn't, if it was, it would have sold for more.
*BAD FORM.*

• #31
It was, you put it on an auction site and it sold for £195.
This is the same £195 that it is worth.

• #32
Plus no Ebay fees.
Win.

It is only worth what sombody is willing to pay, which was £195.

Can't believe you're finding it so difficult to shift this... if it only it was drilled for a rear brake. Top marks for perseverance though...

• #37
It would have sold if he wasn't so greedy.

£195 is a perfect price for that frame, and 2kg isn't light, just normal for a decent run-of-the-mill frame.
-
• #39
Dibs cranks.
-
• #40
i disagree, a new f+f of this quality will set you back at the very least £400 brand new
fixed.
-
• #41
my mistake.
if it indeed cost that much new, then £195 is perfect.
-
• #42
They do on E-Bay.
£195. -
• #43
Interesting that you should refer to economic theory. In auction theory, "winner's curse" is held to apply to niche items, where the winner wins because they overpay on the item's value.
Which would imply that the frame is worth less than £195.
-

If you are in a lot of debt, maybe waiting for £260 (which after the above seems highly unlikely now) might be a false economy.
e.g waiting two months for £65 more when the interest accrued on the debt is £60 a month, would mean you'd actually lost £55.
Sorry for being a smart-arse. It's given you another free bump if nothing else.

I already lent my copy to andy.
I binned it, morals FTW.

well, i paid the buyer to release me from the sale, because after ebay fees I would have ended up with about £170, which is a ridiculously low price for this frame. So, it fell through because i blasted the floor out from under it, but it was a legitimate cancellation of the contract of sale.
How much did it cost you to weasel out of the eBay sale? I didn't know eBay had that option.

frame now £195 (plus £65 collection, delivery or storage fee).
Bickering aside, this frame is now a steal! I cannot believe nobody has gone for it.
-
• #49
Well, i'm hoping it's not going to take that long. I had someone seriously interested at £340(but they wanted it shipped abroad), and a fair amount of interest when it was 320/300, which puts this shit trolling in perspective. If I don't sell it on here, i'm still confident i'll be able to put it up with a BIN on ebay at this price and get it sold quickly...
Do it then, should have taken what it legally sold for £195.
Not trolling, I genuinely think what you are doing is classed as cuntish.

I thought this sold on ebay?
15 Bids, winning bid £195.
*Looks like bad form to me.*
