  • So what if I had my picture take alongside a celebrity in a public place, then I download that image and upload to my blog, do I have any rights if the photog complains ....as I am a subject and had not signed a release?....this happened, I removed the image.

The photog was complaining about unauthorised use of his image askig for a fee or that I remove it....I understand the photographer has rights but this seemed a bit rich as I was one of the 2 subjects of the photo!

your blog or a blog linked to the commercial part of that pub cycling game you run?

the best way for the photographer to deal with it would have perhaps asked for a credit. there may have been a conflict of interest if the image had been syndicated for press use but why would they need a pic of your bonce as well as that of the 'celeb' :-)

I was talking in their ear, and my head is sigificantly larger than most celebs

    Yes, but 'nit-picking' isn't.

[No tag needed in my case.]

Knit-picking is, Shirley, the picking at knitting when one has nothing else interesting to do. For example, my Mum used to knit-pick whilst me and my brother were hiding behind the sofa watching Dr. Who.
