I'd like a sub forum for immigrants, so we can enjoy our spelling mistakes in peace. And one for the Nordic types.
In the meantime, using the ignore option will do.

and the whole shaving/waxing/depilating issue,
Male cyclists probably agonise over that issue more than female non-cyclists.

I had a lovely drink tonight with Emilia, and Fluff and we thought it might be worth at least having a try.
I watched that drink. I wanted to approach, but my skin, my bloody skin, my terrible skin, it made me feel angry, it made me uncomfortable, angry, how might you take me, a man covered in creams and lotions, emerging from a false bush (with wheels) weeping ?
So I just watched.
I think with a strong moderator it wouldn't have the same problems as the rest of the forum.
I can be that moderator, I would be lovely to all the girls, it would pretty much be an anything goes policy.

Can we still read the sub-forum without participating? I find "Cosmopolitan" entertaining.

• #207
i have no idea. it doesn't possess the quality of existence yet.

I'm fine with a sub-forum being created.
I"m concerned about the definition of it in terms of how it then gets implemented, this is just acknowledging that the system at present doesn't know the gender or sex of the person posting, so I have no data with which I could filter the contributors to a sub-forum. Further if I changed the system people could lie, so it could never effectively exclude a male audience or participants.
Basically, I'm up for it in principle, I think it's not a bad idea at all... and whilst I haven't read the thread fully and may therefore have missed it, I'm keen to see how it might work before setting it up. I'll read the whole thread later.

No exclusion (of men) has been asked for, Velocio.

i guess it doesn't really matter is men pretending to be women post on it, as long as women are using it for its intended purpose (as far as i can tell the fixie wimmins want a way to provide access to women's events that might get swamped in other areas of the forum)
just a means in, really? is that kind of what people want?

or even just men.
we all enjoy hanging out with the forum mens, if we didn't, why would we spend all of our time hanging around a bunch of stinky boys?

DK - Nhatt and I are going to discuss this later, but the general idea is
normal sub forum (like the city based ones)
everyone can see and post (including boys)
two mods can merge/delete posts on that sub forum (potentially me and Nhatt) - I'm not actually expecting any 'issues' but the option would be nice
all the ladies specific threads (saddles/bikes/pants/rides) are brought into that forum as a one stop shot to find lady specific subjects.
Posts would obviously not just be deleted because we said so, they would need to report them as abuse in the normal way (I'm not sure if this possible) -

Ah, nice summary... in that case let me know what you'd like it called. Preference towards a functional name.
