• Cheapest road bikes,
Daccordi Shimano 105 equipped bike for £650
Pearl Shimano 105 equipped bike for £400

What are the frame sizes of these? Anything in L or XL?
    Cheers.

  • Are there any sidi mega or northwave in 47/48?

Thanks for answering all our Q's btw

  • Went along today with the missus. Got a pair of teeny Sidi MTB shoes, 2 non cycling tops, slightly incomplete new Centaur brakeset and a bottle of 500 cable ends all for £80. Great prices and nice fellas, even after the mix-up with adding up the prices.

It's a bit of a nightmare to find, but worth the trip out there if you can make it.

  • is there any point coming out on saturday?
    im looking for some sidis...

  • Nice one scrapper! I got a pair of sidi dominators, the mother of all chain breaks, a conti 4000 tyre, pots of cable tidies and ferrules and a stronglight threaded headset for £125! Top marks all round and a nice pootle along the canal in the sunshine. All in all a champion morning!

  • JD arrived as I left; game over man, game over!

Deffo try and get there early tomorrow (assuming JD hasnt snapped everything up to sell on)

what?? he bought evrything including the building?

@JD dibs on the glass doors and roller shutters if you split

Didn't buy the building as they wouldn't include the doors which was the clincher in the deal!

Get yourselves down still plenty of good stuff left. Especially if you want some 27" tyres for £3 each.

  • i can picture you standing there poker faced and making that circular motion with your index finger like you do, asking

    "how much for everything?"

    :-)

  • gerald you made me lol!!!! so much

Nearly! Tika why aren't you out riding? There where some sidi's in your size today.

  • i am working. i can't go until saturday, i hope it is not too late
i am not riding because i came home and opened a bottle of red :(
thanks for the update about sidis

  • I think this needs to be done, although it's no joke from the wrong side of the Rio Grande (SE). But I'm digging out my passport...

Tube is not too far away, and seems sensible, but We All Know Who We Are, right? And riding stops you from going mad buying. Marylebone Rd isn't my favourite, let alone 10 miles of the Westway, so check out the canal points at Paddington and Perivale. Canal wanders all over the shop, but no lights, and picturesque at points.

  • on the canal it will take ages to get there

  • Scrapper reckons that's how he gets there every day tho. Personally, if I take the Westway I'll be in a foul mood by the time I get there, and by the side roads you might as well take the canal anyway.

  • I did from SE13 up there this morning 20 miles after getting on the canal at Harrow Rd.
Git your Roubaix on; lumpy bumpy and dusty but non-stop. Canal paths ain't good on 25c but honking over the two incredibly steep little ramps over a couple of inlets off the canal was fun.

  • Hmmm, tika's right. That's like twice the road distance. Bah.

  • i used to work in white city. i think that the best is harrow road to harlesden and the is pretty close

  • What are the frame sizes of these? Anything in L or XL?
    Cheers.

Small and medium, pearl has gone as well.
L and XL we have carbon frames left only

  • it depends on where you are cominmg from to the best route,
Canal i find fastest but i guess i know where every bump and crack on it is and I've always come from somewhere close to it.
Canal takes about 25mins from Ladbrooke grove/harrow road. 35 from paddington.
Westway you need to deal with some sketchy drivers sometimes.

  • popped in this morning, well worth a look in, still a whole bunch of road shoes and a fair few mtb's as well! and the canal is actually a really nice ride.

    Cheers Scrapper!

  • thanks to Marlon for sorting shoes for me and Scrapper or whoever answered the phone with having patience and explaining me what was left

  • Are there many road shoes left in a size 44-45 ? (I've never had any before, so I don't know what size I need)
It would be pretty annoying to turn up to find out there's nothing left...

  • thanks for everything scrapper

  • Sorry dude, that was actually written in jest, not meant to be a dig at all!

No problem. Do enjoy the sunny day. Hope your road there and found a bargain or two.

  • hey JD
Marlon bought me the shoes . yes!
