  • I am desperate to find my bike, I have put signs up in my local area and am dropping them into as many bike shops as possible, if anyone sees my beautiful bike, please let me know - 07554388613

I hardly see any Terry Dolans in london, and this one is very individual, please please please help me get my baby back!!!

  • it may be better is you move the thread to http://www.lfgss.com/thread123.html with some details like when and where it was stolen, and don't forget to mention how it was locked before you get scobled.

  • Wow that bikes nice!

  • I posted there too, i created this one to twitter it :(

it was in a gated community and the gates were busted open and the little b******* had time to just sit there and work on it

basically stolen from victoria park inside a gated community. myself and my neighbours were away and they had time to work through the lock :(

  • What lock(s) did you use?

  • might want to move this to private or take your number out.

and don't bite when someone says "you should have used x amount of locks, of this type and a tank to guard it. as well as watching it for 24 hours a day"

  • or asks if you can bar spin.

  • damo, you are discouraging someone from describing how their bike was locked. The whole point of reporting stolen bikes on this forum is to get forum members to possible help in looking out for it. This works better when the owner of the bike is forthcoming about what really happened.

People on here do help those that really badly locked their bikes up, and were honest about it. People learn from their mistakes, and others learn from other's mistakes, so that they don't suffer the same fate.

You're not being helpful at all.

  • no i'm not, i'm really not GA2G. i'm saying "don't bite". i.e. don't get angry when someone, and there will be someone, who says something along the lines of "oh you should have used that lock. and done this. and that. no wonder your bike was stolen"

    which isn't helpful.

  • also, how does determining how a bike was locked increase participation in looking out for someone's stolen bike?

  • I know how I would respond, and it would vary from situation to situation.

  • are you saying that if you determined someone had failed, by your standards, to lock the bike with the sufficient number of locks of the requisite type that you would not look for that bike?

  • Gated Community = oxymoron.

Sorry about the stolen dolan, hope you get it back.

  • damo give it a rest. You can't be seriously trying to guess what I am thinking?

I would respond seriously to you, but this is becoming so incredibly BORING, that I won't. Sorry.

  • er.
ok. don't answer my questions. fine. it's boring.

i'll just assume that unless a bike is locked to your standards you won't look for it.

  • Your assumption is wrong.

But I think you are familiar with that feeling.

  • Ashe, you've done marvels for the lock thread, but you seem to be misunderstanding Damo and barking up the wrong tree. The one upside is that the thread's being bumped.

To the Dolan owner - I hope you get it back.

  • Well that's good.

    Wrong is not an emotion.

  • Stolen Dolan.

  • Crimes rhymes.

  • Ashe, you've done marvels........

If marvels ever says that again, I'll sue.

  • Locks cocks.

  • Bummfluff, I see your sprinting is improving. I'm keeping watch.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Ashe gash.

  • Stolen Dolan.

My Aussie pal in Bethnal Green used to refer to his Dolan tarck bike as this cos he got it off eBay. Not my work. It's good un.
