Fuckin hell, good work keeping your chin up.
All I can think of are clichés, but I think things becomes clichés for a reason, at least if they're good. So enjoy life, keep your chin up, and dip your head in the sea when you get to Lands End (dunno where though, cliffs n shit)
I might not in the UK in august, but and idea I got was an LFGSS outing to join him on his ride for a bit? If we'd be welcome to join that is

I would love to go for a ride, regardless of how incurable you are. You seem like a decent dude

There's a wierdly large amount of people on STW with drastic cancers...glad that mtb ain't one of my regular activities, sounds like it could be dangerous.
Tart your page as many places as you can, write a book (sod Lance) AND do a film (sod Ewan and Charlie).

I went through something vaguely similar to you but found out tumour was v. rare benign - Fibrous dysplasia. Xrays, CT, bone scan, bloods, sit in waiting room, three years of follow up surveillance for lumps found on lungs during the CT - horrible nightmare, ex smoker, stupid c**t playing Russian roulette with my body - never again.

Unfortunately I wasn't quite as lucky.
Character building though!
Obviously I don't really know anyone on here, but I'd like to meet up with folk and put names to faces. I work in Crystal Palace, but live in Wadhurst near Tunbridge Wells. Presumably there's a pub in South London where all you hipsters frequent. Pub quiz anyone?

Roebuck. Tuesday nigh. Don't look at the SE Drinks thread, because it could put you off.
Or you can combine cycling + train and come up to any other drinks (Souths - Mon, North - Tue, Easts - Wed, West - Thu etc.). Someone from Basigstoke came up to the East last week.

No, it was my testies which prompted the vigil on the forum. Still have to see the urologist on the 29th.

I think she's got some gay hipster friends already, but thanks for your interest. At least she wouldn't need to support you. Now Max, he is a different story... :-)

South drinks isn't far from Crystal Palace - at the Coach and Horses between Brixton and Clapham;

You'd be made very welcome, I'm sure.

Yes lucky but still a nasty thing to have, bone keeps fracturing on the inside when I sneeze - painful. Take Alendronic Acid - not much use.

At least it's a rare one, you wouldn't want any of these common cancers. And cancer's a fairly good defence against internet cuntism... See, that's looking on the bright side :) Oh, I fail at this.
In all seriousness, it's brave of you (you're Mark, right? You're username's confusing) to be looking at it this way. Positive mental attitude's the reason why some people survive stuff other's don't, and you've obviously got a shedload if you're doing JOGLE. At least you've got the incentive of fleeing the Scots that way - best of luck!
All I can do really is give you the link to the funniest thing I've seen in a while - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItZyaOlrb7E&feature=youtube_gdata
