  • It was/is a great shop but fairly niche and tucked away. I was always worried it wouldn't last very long but it would be sad if it has indeed gone.

  • @WroSS - what's the cycling like in Berlin? I've heard it's good. Planning to go out for a holiday next year with Mrs. sea-level, hire bikes and cycle around (the best way to see a city). And you can cycle a good length of the Wall, right?

  • @Tomo187 - it would be sad. I loved the stuff they had. Got my Tokyo Fixed lid I been wearing all summer from there. We shall see... currently no sign of another business moving in, so who knows.

  • It's great, plenty of bike roads, drivers are quite nice, traffic light very smart ( not stopping at reds at all, I'm deliveroo boy here :)). There's load of places renting bikes, quite few bike tours. Remember that Berlin is actually hella big city so slow bike might be not enough to see much in a day or two. Within over a month I did circa 2k km here and I would it's quite safe and parks here are wonderful for bike trips.

  • Thanks! Sounds pretty sweet. We'll definitely go.

  • Basin Road North - as close as I could get to the original location.

This was on my way to the Boulder Brighton Centre in Portslade, so no biggie to get it.

  • It was Martime House parking and I strongly recommend to visit it as you can access rooftop with the outside staircase with no problems and get a lovely view over harbour.

  • I'll look out for that next time I'm down there for sure. I love that little road and have long had plans to tag it - just didn't know which angle/view to go for.

  • as you can access rooftop with the outside staircase with no problems

Unfortunately, not any more. They got the place locked down tight with chain-link fencing topped by razor wire, and a big-ass blue gate (shut and locked) made out of spike-topped palisade fencing. I'm guessing your visit was a few years ago.

  • Nah, few months ago. Need to go there when it's open during working hours. People looking at me from offices didn't mind me at all. During weekends when parking is closed it's a fortress.

  • another view

  • New tag from me not coming any time soon. I got knocked off the bike on my way back from getting this tag, and am currently in hospital awaiting scans and probable surgery on my left leg.

I declare 'open tag'; i.e. the first person to post sets the next tag. The game resets. I hope to be able to rejoin eventually but it could be a while.
