Gotta be cheating if it isn't technically in Brighton?

Brighton, Hove, Kemptown, Patcham, Portslade, Southwick... I think it's all fair game.

Anything within this zone is good, I think... and I don't mind going outside it on occasion.

You want another tag?

@Dogtemple once sent me out to Rottingdean, and I got soaked! It was still fun.

You have a good memory that was ages ago! I live there so it was a very easy one for me.
Technically the B&H boundary to the east is longridge ave in saltdean and approx the Sussex beds shop in portslade to the west. I only know this due to working for the soul sucking council and arguing the toss over who should accept responsibility for things between councils. Super boring but I knows my boundary lines.

Thank you @Dogtemple
On this basis:-
- https://www.lfgss.com/comments/16139156/ is within the boundary
- my new tag is outside the boundary!
But I encourage you to go and get it, because it's in a fascinating area - and it's an area that few are aware off (unless you're super local and walk the dog there or something).
I pass thru there sometimes on the old knobblies on my way up to the Downs (yes, I know that sounds unlikely). When I go thru with friends, they are amazed and say they had no idea that that route/space existed.

I always find this so bizarre, the amount of people in this town that donβt go out and explore even the obvious places is surprising. There are loads of little places around here to find and none are more than a few miles away. So much to discover

It was next to Brighton Marina... Clues in the name!
(I'm not sure my tone is coming across correctly, but I hope it's clear that this is all tongue in cheek?)

I know. But I thought that I would address your point re. what-is-Brighton seriously. Worth defining the boundaries.

Don't worry; I know it's all tongue in cheek. I met you, and like RB, you're a really lovely guy. It's all good. We have no problems here on BBT.
But you do raise an interesting point about boundaries. I am happy to go with the "Dogtemple protocol" re. the east / west axis. Not sure about north... I would say as far as Patcham.
Of course, please push the boundaries when you feel the need, but it's good to have rough guidelines.

"Multum in parvo" - I've always felt that about Brighton.
Ah yes, I'd forgotten that. The Ocean Rooms was the building on the left, painted all spotty. Then it became this, which is how I remember it these days... and now it's something else.
