Yes, Clarence Gardens. My tag was of The Little Theatre, down the steps by the pub.
Nice, shiny new All City?

Yeah Gorilla Monsoon. Relatively new, I've had it for about six months now.

It's not as green and pleasant as the photo makes it look. Here's another angle.

Behind these roller shutters on Upper Gardner St.
I couldn't tag the funny wooden hut thing, because the shutters were down. In fact, in all the hundreds of times I've walked down this road, I've never seen the shutters up! Your tag must have been a freak occurrence.
But this is the place.

But then... how the hell did you know where it was?
Also it's doing my nut in, so please tell me what the little circle with circles around it logo is? It looks like a stick-drawing of a troll and I recognise it but can't place it. -

But then... how the hell did you know where it was?
Because of:-
a) the reflected house, which architecturally strongly implied the North Laine
b) the circles-around-the-circle logo, which a friend and I found on three separate properties in the North Laine (while in process of trying to locate this tag). These two facts firmly planted the location in the North Laine. Then it was a matter of finding a house which was end-of-terrace on the left (not on the right, because it's a reflection), and which had a window above the door, and which was opposite a garage or warehouse or similar. Window-above-door on this style of house is a surprisingly rare occurrence in the North Laine, and indeed in the whole of Brighton.
In the end, one of my friends and I walked down to the North Laine on Saturday morning, and looked around. We strolled up to Upper Gardner St. and made for this location, which was one of my pre-identified target spots. We looked. I was just about to cross it off the list when my friend say: "this is the place". We looked at the house opposite, and the whole locale.. and I realized that he was right... this was the place. It all fit.
I will admit that this was one of the hardest tags I have ever done, and my backup team got involved, out of interest.
My buddy R found two of the properties with the circles logo on (almost by intuitive magic; I don't know how he found one of them). I found the other one.
And my buddy J called it correctly on the location.
Most times I work alone, but at other times - when the going gets really tough - my support team of interested friends steps in to help. They love the game just as much as me.
I will now show you the three locations where we found the circles logo in the North Laine...
Upper Gardner St.
