My buddy John figured it out. He’s in my office and, although a non-combatant, takes as strong an interest in bike tag as I do. If I manage to get really hard ones, it’s often (not always) because we worked on it together. Thanks John!

Devil's Dyke Road, south end, just off the A27. Facing north-west; Trueleigh Hill in the distance.

@Dogtemple tag was presumably underneath the Palace Pier? That bit you could walk through, but now (I think) they've got it permanently closed off(?)

I'd like to go out to Devil's Dyke Road to get the tag, but it may take a while. It's not my favourite bit of road, and is actually somewhere I usually go out of my way to avoid. Maybe I'll go out v early one morning, or late one evening.

It was actually surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Dropped down into Poynings, Fulking (with a stop at the Shepherd & Dog for a pint), round to Shoreham and back.

Having selfishly revealed where it was, and denied others the pleasure of working it out, I thought I should head up there and get it toot-sweet!

Nobody’s getting this so I’ll kick things off with a new tag that’s closer to home in a day or two.
