i've got a basicly nos bianchi, with a groupset (avanti/mirage) which suggests that it is 1995, or around then, but i wondered if anyone could tell a more precise date/model. The serial number is wa8063253a . Or if someone knows where I can find this out, that would be great too.

Hi i need to know if someone has any info about this:
Campy and Galli mix, nothing on seatstays or bb, neither at fork.
Rear and front dropouts campy, a small red piece of columbus identity with the old white logo
at the bottom.
Any info or thought will help -

few more info:
has English bb thread (campy with conical bearings inside)
and 27.2 Galli seatpost made by ttti 'm thinking that could be a Romani (Parma) from middle 70s
but i have not find any photos or description of pre 80s Romani...If anyone know something for Romani bikes will help a lot
thanks

Hi all,
I went to a wedding last week and as we pulled up to our hotel in rural north Wales, I look to my left and next door to our place of rest was a small bike shop, with this in the window.
So, with 15 minutes to spare before our taxi arrived I popped along and promptly bought it. Thing is, I don't know what I bought exactly, so if anyone has any pointers I'd be very grateful of the help. I'm desperate to put some decals on it but I would love to know what it is first before slapping anything on it *taps de rosa decals into ebay*.
All I know is:
-It had been in his window for 12+ years.
-Bright fade paintjob
-Columbus Gara tubing which wasn't the best tubeset of its time
-Heart cut outs in the lugs ( As I understand it, these were quite common place so the chances of it being a De Rosa are slim )
-27.0 Seattube dia
-Internal brake routing
-126 rear width
-British BB
-56 stamped on the BB and nothing else. 56 being it's ST length c-c.
-No stamping or engraving anywhere else.Anyone? Help?
Thank you.

It's definitely not a De Rosa I'm afraid. They have very distinctive diamond chainstays and this frame clearly hasn't.
It's nice though.

How much was it if you don't mind me asking..
-
• #517
£80.
About right for a new old frame with no ID I thought.

Looks like an Alf Noakes of Sheffield to me.
Some people reckon he only used Reynolds but that's a load of fucking rubbish.

What makes you say that RPM? Any characteristics of note?

Actually its sterling silver, made by Faberge, before his Egg period. Defo.
The hallmark is commonly found inside. I saw one once on The Antique Roadshow.
I think its worth about £350,000.oo, but it could fly if two bidders get involved.
