Colnago style lug cuts outs
what do you mean by this? because the seatlug cutout doesn't look like Colnago. Also, are the headset/bb british threaded?

Sorry, meant it had the Clover cut outs, but I know others used them... Not sure reg headset, I think the BB is british thread (built it a year or two ago).

I'm trying to find out what tubing this diamant has. It has fluted tubing so my first thought was that it might be gilco? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
How many indentations? It could be an earlier Columbus MS, but I can't remember how they were shaped.

Columbus Gilco or there also were Oria Tubes like this, but I don't remember the name.

Anyone able to shed light on whether these will become available to the general public?

No, this has nothing to do with Columbus MS. Totally different.

Just bought a Peugeot exactly like this one (only in a worse condition) for 20Euros and I've been trying to identify it using http://www.peugeotshow.com and other sites. There is a serial number on the rear right dropout: Y71225398 - any clues?

^ Looks great!
Not 100% sure that's a Chater Lea Headclip though, most of them had notches around the top, but I've also seen ones with knurling.
If you clean up the top race/clip assembly you'll probably find the makers name.
Brampton are another possibility, I think TDC made them too, as did some of the larger bike manufacturers, the one on my Claud is marked CB for example.
If it is a chater lea, you'll be onto something good. another quick check would be the chainset - if that's chater lea you'll be laughing!
Here's a shot of the chainset on my full-CL equipped track bike...
Fuuuuuu- I need this frame!
I think I PM'd a while back about it actually...
£60 bloody quid! £60!!!!
