Has he considered driving a cab for a living?
/Coat.
Oddly enough he does still have his driving licence... for 'comic' reasons only I hope.

Nah turbo trainers, static bikes, rollers etc all count I reckon because otherwise it excludes groups who enjoy cycling but can't cycle on the road for legal reasons - like my mate Ben who is blind who ocassionally does a bit of tandem stuff with me but otherwwise isn't able to go on the road.
Interesting point, but Rolla miles should count for half as there's no wind resistance and mostly no rolling resistance...
My mum is probably joining the team!

So you only have to do some of your miles this month in London for all of them to count? I will be cycling from Richmond to Oxford next weekend, so there will be a couple of miles in London. Does that mean I can log all my miles for the month? I normally do about 140-160 miles a week, excluding the little trips to town etc. I daresay I could rack up a few points...
-

If you live in London you can log all the miles you cycle.
-
• #184
Except possibly rollas.

We're 4th in our group this morning. A few 100 points behind Andreas and his London Cyclist blog team, and far behind Used to Be Something and those Silly Commuter Racers. Damn them all! We all need to some serious mileage this weekend if we're not going to fall permanently behind.
Maybe we could all do some kind of epic forum ride together to bump us up en masse? Hackney to Old Street, that kind of thing.
-
• #188
People keep on joining and not putting there miles down. Making it harder and harder to win. Put your miles down!
-
• #189
Would it help if this had a 'sticky' so it was always up on the board? I mean we could win a whole £150 (for the server like).

Paris-fucking-Roubaix.. 175miles. Not to work though, oh well.
Nice. Did you log it anyway?
-
• #198
Can't really be bothered.. unless I'm missing something, anyone could just log silly miles to 'win' the thing.
-
• #199
It's not the winning that matters... It's the coloured stars.

Signed up and logged some miles for last week, not many (was only out on the bike 2 days) but 'every little helps' and will be more this week. Go team!
Has anyone pointed out that, technically, you should get more points for riding fixed?
