Anyway, awesome event, amazing just how much more money was poured into it compared with previous years. Really taking off as an important cycling thing on the calendar.

Your blog says 1km laps down to 40 seconds. I wish I'd turned up now to see cyclists averaging 56mph.

Question - why are breakaways winning races awesome when watching it on TV, but boring as fuck in real life?
