Seems like continental are bringing some Brompton tyres into the market. Saw some today at the prudential ride 100 show this evening.

Tell me they’re tubeless ready, please.

Innit!
Tempted with white cables but just not got the time this time round!
My build list is too big and the deadlines are too soon!
A few more quite funky ones though!

Mine are. Haven't found any 349mm tubeless tyres yet though.

Obviously not Brompton’s own (at current rate of ‘innovation’, that’s about 20 years off).
But these are 👍

That’s still a nice tyre

Anyone got any advice regarding the removal of a stuck Brompton stem? Trying to remove the stem so I can stick my disc fork on there. Have followed the Brompton doc that says undo the lock nut 1 turn and then the expander bolt 4 turns and give it the Allen key a whack, but it's not shifting at all. Indeed I've now given it several whacks and nothing... I was hoping to get this sorted so I could commute on Monday. Soak it in penetrating oil and leave it a while?

shit soz! I was meant to reply .. I am sorted for now :) thanks

• #7098
will these work with mudguards?
-
• #7099
Takes an almighty whack - best off with a punch and a mallet rather than using a hammer to hit an Allen key.

Hammer and punch, hit it harder
Top tip. Might lose the guards for the summer.I've already gone light weight on wheels, pedal, saddle. Can a normal brompton seat post lose the pentaclip and is the bb not required?
